Phil takes us to a spot where he had a lucky strike the week before. He dug up over 3oz of gold nuggets along a 10 meter line running north south, which began at the foot of a small casuarina tree. Phil explains that this non-descript little tree is known to prospectors as a gold indicator tree. It seems to particularly like growing in the soil where gold likes to hide.
